Community Outreach
As a global company, Sodexo has a responsibility to the communities in which they work to serve the less fortunate. The Sodexo management team recently laid down their cell phones, hopped out of their operations, and threw on aprons to prepare and serve lunch at Lynchburg Daily Bread. It was a wonderful experience, and the Daily Bread staff have invited the managers back any time.
The Sodexo team also had the privilege of returning as the lunch sponsor for United Way's Day of Caring. A delicious lunch was served to 1,200 volunteers at Hillcats Stadium that day!
Zero Trans-Fat Oils
Sodexo uses zero trans-fat oil products in all foodservice operations nationwide. Zero Trans-Fat products include salad dressings, sauces, soups, breads, muffins, cereals, pasta, breaded chicken, eggs, tortillas, oils and a range of other items.
